Endom Bridge


Endom Bridge, spanning the Ouachita River, will be closed to traffic and open to samples of NELA's own Flying Tiger Brewery and Ouachita Brewing Company, and other craft beer selections provided by Marsala Beverage and Choice Brands.


Wristbands to sample brews will be available for purchase for only $5. Park downtown Monroe/West Monroe, or arrive via Float the Ouachita. Proceeds benefit the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council. More details here.

Food Network Star Finalist and local businessman Chef Cory Bahr scheduled to attend A Rare Culinary Collaboration on October 13.


Cory is a culinary and economic leader in Louisiana, and deeply involved in the conservation of his beloved South.  His newest project is Parish Restaurant (Coming December 2017), an inventive take on classic Southern dishes utilizing live fire cooking that infuses all the flavors, technique and heritage of his beloved Delta region.  Honoring everything that's important in his South -- community, culture, and culinary heritage -- Cory presents honest dishes with a strong sense of place, for which he has earned a national recognition.  He's been recognized as Food & Wine's 'People's Best New Chef' in America, Food Network Star Finalist, Food & Wine's "People's Best New Chef' Gulf Coast, Taste of the South "Taste 50", Food Network's Chopped!
